Earth Sheltered Retreat

Design for a compact earth sheltered home proposed for a wooded hillside riverfront site in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Designs allow for a 1 bedroom house with all the amenities desired for long getaways. The house would essentially be invisible from the road and would put the living spaces closer to the river while keeping views and access to sunlight throughout the day.
